(Source: Andrew McCathie dpa, Hamburg, Germany (MCT) — The numbers out of work in Germany rose for the fourth consecutive month in July, as Europe’s debt crisis hit the jobs market in the region’s biggest economy.
The labour office said seasonally adjusted unemployment increased by 7,000 this month to 2.888 million. This left the unemployment rate unchanged at 6.8 per cent – its lowest level in two decades.
